About Sceptre

Sceptre is unique: she is believed to be the only British challenger for an America's Cup event still sailing in British waters, all the more impressive as she reached her Golden Jubilee in 2008.  To see her sailing, and to hear about her history, please click on this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7LcaIoeuvM 

She is now owned, maintained and sailed by the members of the Sceptre Preservation Society.

She is available for charter during the year for groups or companies to enjoy a weekend of exciting sailing, or to participate in one of the many regattas held during the season.  Single berths may also be available throughout the year.  

In 2012 we hope that Sceptre will be taking part in the 12 Metre World Championships, to be held on the Solent during June and July.
